"Eight Bottle Night"  Now, you may be wondering what "Eight Bottle Night" stands for. Well, the infamous "Eight Bottle Night" begins with us picking up the Brits at their resort and going to "El Manguito", one of the best authentic Dominican food restaurants in the Puerto Plata area. (I recommend the stewed goat, it is without compare.) And then I exposed the unwitting participants to the beauty of a "servicio" with Barcelo Imperial. A "servicio" is a bottle of Dominican rum served to you with a bucket of ice, and one bottle of coke, so that you can mix your own drinks. Of course as I'm sure you're starting to figure out, on this particular night, we had eight servicios of rum. And needles to say we all were feeling no pain after a certain point in the evening. But after all, that was kind of the point, wasn't it?

(The group at dinner at El Manguito, just getting started on our drinking binge. Take a good look now, we're not going to look quite so docile very soon.)

(Obviously it didn't take Jeff long to become affected by all the rum.)

(The group picture quite a while later on in the night, at a bar on the Malecon. And in case you couldn't tell, we're well on our way to polishing off those 8 bottles.)

(Mark and Zena obviously having a spirited discussion.)
