Dominican Republic Vacation |

This is the final part of the evening. We had already had dinner and consumed 3 bottles of rum. Well thanks to the generosity of the pours that Renez was making, I think everyone was feeling no pain whatsoever. At this point, we were drinking at a bar on the malecon (the oceanside boardwalk). And then later we take a walk, and some pictures along the actual malecon. Of course the scariest part of the night was the drive home. See, unfortunately we had to drive by the force. Meaning, that the headlights were so horrible that you can't see more than maybe 15 feet in front of you, which means you can't really avoid the potholes in front of you, you only just have time to say "Oh fu*&!" and hold on tight. So, it's essential to use the force as much as possible to avoid absolutely killing everyone in the back of the van. Amazingly enough I did fairly well that evening. I think I had imbibed more than my fair share of the rum, but at least I could walk, unlike Russ, or even talk without slurring, unlike Renez. Hell Russ couldn't even keep his eyes open, as you'll probably notice from the last few pictures with him. And of course Caroline didn't think of me too kindly the next morning. Actually I'm sure everybody referred to me the next day while afixing a four letter description to my name.
(The boys feeling mighty fine.)
(Enjoying a relaxing cigar along with our favorite beverages)
(The group surrounding one of the oceanside monuments)
(The final picture before we embark on our voyage back home.)
